Biography

With over 30 years’ experience working as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist Celeste has an intrinsic understanding of children and families. Celeste has successfully managed Building Blocks OT, Speech & Physio which started as a home based business in 2001 and has grown into an award winning practice with three locations and over 20 staff.

 Over 15 years of managing and leading a staff team Celeste has become a skilled teacher, mentor and supervisor. She has been a professional mentor via OT Australia and privately, was a member of the Occupational Therapy Australia Paediatric Taskforce in authoring the Guide to Good Practice, and continues to excel in training New Graduate OT’s to master the art of Paediatric OT.

Celeste is a master clinician and passionate educator with a vast knowledge base and array of clinical examples to support her teaching and training. Celeste has an interest in research to further the field of Paediatric OT and strives to implement evidence-based practice into her treatment approaches and actively furthers her skill set via continuing education. Celeste is passionate about training the next generation of Paediatric OT’s and hopes to pursue further opportunities for teaching of New Graduate or undergraduates. Outside of her work, Celeste enjoys anything outdoors, physical activity, sailing and sunshine and soaking up as much time as she can with her friends and family.
